Unicorn Festival is a two-day music festival showcasing the beauty of diversity.
Since 2013 our team aims at bringing back openness and friendly manners in society with a unique,
open minded dance event. What started off at a small industrial field in the port temporarily moved to a mirror tent in a forest only to find its safe haven right next to the river.
At every edition we mix the best dance music with art, tasty food and loads of fun.
Ever since 2013 both our event and community kept on growing and to this day we keep sharing our message to the world:
Always be yourself, unless you can be a Unicorn.
UNICORN FESTIVAL 2013
On Saturday 24 July 2013, Unicorn Festival took place for the first time! Imagine! 2 stages, one inside and one outside. A diverse line-up and fascinating acts gave you a brilliant dance-experience. Our line up was already top notch. A playground full of happy, passionate and pleasant party people. Unicorn Festival was born! We were a pioneer to free people's mind mind and feed diversity.

UNICORN FESTIVAL 2014
On Sunday 31 August 2014, Unicorn Festival took place for the second time. This time, unicorns awaken in a magical forest at Noordkasteel. Unicorns are here to spread joy, love and laughter. They are us. Trees, water, grass, a mirror tent, music and loving people are the perfect ingredients for a mythical festival. Imagine! 2 stages. One underneath a beautiful roof of threes, and one in a beautiful old-fashioned mirror tent. A diverse mix of music, art and happy, passionate and pleasant party people. It is the first time that we programmed international DJs. Did you know that 10 minutes before the festival opened, it was still raining cats and dogs! Two hours later we were dancing in the sun!

UNICORN FESTIVAL 2015
On Saturday 4 July 2015, Unicorn Festival took place for the second time in and around the Magiq Spiegeltent in Antwerp. This time, the internationally known artist Compuphonic is closing the main stage! Together with a mix of the best dance and pop music, art, a tasty food corner and a high dose of fun, Unicorn was a huge success! Nothing is necessary, everything is allowed! After the festival, we continued dancing in the mirror tent, until early in the morning!

UNICORN FESTIVAL 2016
On Saturday 16th of July 2016, Unicorn Festival took place for the last time in its magical forest at Noordkasteel! This time we didn't have a rainy start like the other editions, but we had a heat wave with temperatures up to 40 degrees. Our roof of trees and the last minute installed pool created the perfect situation during this heat wave. Together with the amazing line up, Unicorn Festival was able to grow again a bit bigger!

UNICORN FESTIVAL 2017
The fifth edition of the Unicorn Festival took place on Saturday 8 July 2017. This time we moved form the magical forest to a magical field next to the river.
Our Magic stage had an amazing line up, and for the first time, our little brother WOODPOP hosted a stage during the festival. In a small tent next to the Magic Stage, people were queueing to enter the tent. WOOPDOP made everybody sweat, scream and twerk from the beginning until the end! A perfect match was found!

UNICORN FESTIVAL 2018
The sixth edition of the Unicorn Festival took place on Saturday 14 July 2018. The Magic stage made sure people danced all day in the sun, while the WOODPOP stage moved to an outdoor area as well. Again this stage was too small for the amount of people joining for the best pop. music. So, we added a Techno stage as well. In a small tent, people gathered for a very underground line up.
We hope to bring back this stage as soon as possible!

UNICORN FESTIVAL 2019
On Saturday 6th of July 2019, Unicorn Festival took place for the seventh time in a row! The Magic Stage and WOODPOP Stage became two huge stages and we experimented with live performances. Some of the best upcoming queer artists joined on stage to give the best of themselves. Together with the techno stage of last year, our performance stage will be back very soon.
During this edition we had the craziest entertainment on the field, provided by PARTYTRASHERS. These party creatures know how to amaze the crowd!

UNICORN FESTIVAL 2022
In 2022, UNICORN FESTIVAL was back after 2 years of lockdown.
And boy DID the festival grow!
We went from a 1-day festival to a 2-day festival. Saturday was completely Sold Out. By adding the Sunday, we were able to invite the magical creature called VERONIKA. She hosted a stage and invited all her friends! She created a real KIKI.
On Saturday we had three international DJ superstars on our line up: BRINA KNAUSS, CIOZ and ERLY TEPSHI flew in from Italy, Berlin and Slovakia! Together with our local DJs, we created a weekend to never forget!
